As part of our long-standing association with the Australian Furniture Removals Association (AFRA), Jetpets was proud to once again support the AFRA Conference, held recently in Cairns, Queensland.
One of the highlights of the conference was the AFRA Foundation charity auction, where AFRA members come together each year to raise funds to support those in need.
This year, Jetpets was thrilled to secure a signed cricket bat from the Australian Men’s Cricket Team that won the 2023 World Test Championship.
A special thank you goes to Dr Simon Armit, our Brisbane Vet, and his great friendship with Jimmy Peirson, which helped make the opportunity possible.
But the best part of the story came afterwards.
The signed bat went on to raise $4,500 for the AFRA Foundation.
Importantly, 100% of the funds raised go to the AFRA Foundation, which distributes donations to support other charitable organisations. AFRA has a long history of giving back to the community, including selecting a charity each year to receive a $10,000 donation.

From our team in Brisbane to the many Queensland families we help with domestic and international pet transport, we understand the importance of being connected to the communities we serve.
While our focus is always on providing safe, welfare-led pet transport and relocation services, opportunities such as the AFRA Foundation auction allow us to contribute in another way.
