Q: What will happen in the case of extended delays due to the Sydney Airport curfew?
If your pet’s flight is impacted by the Sydney airport curfew, Jetpets will take care of your pet at the Matraville Transit Lounge, providing additional boarding, feeding, and comfort stops until alternative travel arrangements are secured.
Q: Where is the Sydney Airport pet pickup location?
Different airlines will have different collection points. Your Jetpets travel consultant will be able to help you determine the best pickup point in Sydney to collect your pet after their flight, and can even arrange transportation to your required location for a full door-to-door service!
Q: Will Jetpets be able to drop off my pet in regional NSW?
Jetpets have been assisting families to relocate their pets to remote locations across Australia for over 30 years. From Albury, Bathurst, Dubbo, Tamworth, Wagga Wagga and beyond, Jetpets can arrange all your pet transport requirements from most regional ports Australia-wide.
Q: Where will my pet be quarantined?
All pets who arrive in Australia (other than from New Zealand, Norfolk Island or Cocos (Keeling) Islands), need to be quarantined. Your pet will be flown to Melbourne and stay at the quarantine facility for 10-30 days before being able to be relocated to Sydney. The facility is located in Mickleham, Victoria and is a short drive to Melbourne International Airport. The Jetpets team will organise a transfer from Melbourne’s quarantine facility to your location in Sydney after the quarantine period. For more info get in touch!
