Understanding Your Pet
No two pets are the same, and no two journeys are either.
From your first conversation with our team, we take the time to understand both your needs and your pet’s individual requirements. Their breed, age, personality, medical history, travel destination and any special considerations all help us create a travel plan tailored specifically for them.
Whether your pet needs additional boarding before departure, extra care along the way, or has specific travel requirements, our experienced team works with you to make sure every detail is covered.

Preparing for Travel
Depending on your pet’s destination, there may be vaccination requirements, health certificates, export and import permits or veterinary checks to complete before travel.
Our pet travel consultants will guide you through every step, helping you understand exactly what’s needed and when. Where required, veterinary oversight forms an important part of your pet’s travel preparation, ensuring they’re healthy and ready for their journey.
If boarding is required before or after travel, we can also arrange trusted accommodation where pets are cared for in a safe and comfortable environment.
Arranging your Pets Travel Crate
Each pet will have their very own “home away from home” for their journey. Pet Travel crates are an essential part of the process to ensure you fur baby can sit, lie down and turn around in maximum comfort for their journey.
Our pet travel consultants will make sure your pet has the correct sized and airline approved crate for their journey and give you some hints and tips about crate training and familiarisation techniques to prepare your pet for their journey ahead.

The Day Begins Before Sunrise
While many people are still enjoying their morning coffee, our pet handlers are already preparing for the day ahead!
Each morning starts with thorough checks and careful planning. Travel crates are organised and cleaned, vans are prepared and the day’s schedule is reviewed to ensure every journey runs smoothly.
Attention to detail is part of everything we do because we know every pet is someone’s beloved family member.

Collection Day
When it’s time to travel, our trained pet handlers can collect your pet from your home with the same level of care and compassion they’d give their own.
Once they have been collected, your pet is loaded into our Jetpets climate-controlled vehicle in their very own IATA Approved Crate, and they are then safely transported to the airport with one of our pet handlers – who are always sure to provide your furry pal with some cuddles along the way!
Some pets are excited to begin their adventure, while others appreciate a few extra pats and words of reassurance before setting off. Our experienced handlers take the time to help pets feel calm and comfortable as they settle into their journey.
Because for us, pet transport isn’t simply about getting from one destination to another. It’s about making the journey itself a positive experience.
Keeping You Updated Along the Way
We understand that being apart from your pet can be stressful, and one of the most common questions we hear is “How will I know they’re okay while they are travelling?”
When travelling via our Jetpets Transit Lounges, our pet handlers provide Pet Report Update Cards throughout the journey. These updates allow our team to keep you informed about how your furry family member is travelling, giving you extra peace of mind while they’re in our care – This way, you are able to see photos of your fur-baby while apart from them, keeping your mind at ease and reassuring you that they are doing well during their travels!
Whether they’re settling in for a nap, enjoying a walk or simply relaxing during their travels, these updates help you stay connected with your pet every step of the way.

The Transit Lounge Experience
For pets with extended check in, connecting flights or longer travel schedules, our transit lounges provide a safe and comfortable place to rest before or during their journey.
While in our care, pets are provided with bedding and comfortable bedding to relax on, along with fresh water, and food when staying overnight – to keep them happy and hydrated. Depending on their travel schedule, they may enjoy feeding times, toilet breaks, walks and plenty of one-on-one attention from our experienced pet handlers.
Our transit lounges aren’t simply a stopover-they’re a place where pets can rest, recharge and receive the same level of care and compassion they experience throughout their entire journey.
Whether it’s a nervous first-time flyer or a seasoned traveller, every pet in our transit lounges is treated like a VIP.
