Jetpets applies a strict internal risk assessment process and carefully selects flight schedules to and from our approved locations to ensure pets travel during the safest times of the day. Early morning departures are typically preferred to minimise exposure to heat.
What happens if the weather is too hot for my pet to travel?
If weather conditions are considered unsafe, Jetpets will reschedule your pet’s travel and keep you informed. Boarding arrangements can also be organised if required.
Will my pet be monitored during the journey?
Yes. Pets are handled by trained airline animal handlers and Jetpets specialists throughout their journey. If required, pets travelling longer distances may stay at a Jetpets transit lounge, where they receive care, rest and monitoring.
